Agreement
By downloading, purchasing, or using Modocus, you agree to these terms and the Apple Standard End User License Agreement (Standard EULA). If they conflict, the Apple Standard EULA and applicable law control. Do not use a paid service if you do not agree.
The service
Modocus provides local-first task management plus optional Pro features and AI services. No Modocus account is required. You are responsible for your device, Apple ID, bring-your-own API keys, network connection, lawful content, and backups.
Free and Pro Lifetime
Free includes the core local task-management workflow without a task quantity limit. Pro Lifetime is a non-consumable App Store purchase that permanently unlocks attachments, advanced analytics, AI workflows, and BYOK for the same Apple ID. Pro Lifetime does not include hosted AI usage paid for by Modocus.
Modocus AI subscription
Modocus AI is a monthly auto-renewable App Store subscription. Each StoreKit billing period includes 300 user-initiated operations. One user action counts once; internal tool calls and system retries do not consume extra operations, and unused operations do not roll over. Pro is included while the subscription is active. The App Store shows the local price and period before purchase.
Renewal, cancellation, and refunds
The subscription renews automatically unless cancelled in your Apple ID subscription settings at least 24 hours before the current period ends. Apple handles charging, renewal, refunds, and purchase restoration, and refund eligibility follows Apple policy. Hosted access can stop after a refund or revocation. Cancelling Modocus AI does not affect a separately purchased Pro Lifetime entitlement.
AI use and output
AI output can be inaccurate, incomplete, or unsuitable and is not medical, legal, financial, or other professional advice. Verify important information before relying on it or applying it. You may not use Modocus AI unlawfully, infringe rights, bypass quotas, probe systems without authorization, or automate resale of the service.
Availability and changes
We work to keep the service available but do not guarantee uninterrupted network AI. Models may change for quality, reliability, compliance, and cost. We will not reduce a sold period allowance through hidden daily limits or duplicate charging. Future pricing or allowance changes affect later purchases or renewals under App Store rules and will be disclosed where required.
Your content and privacy
You retain rights in your content and authorize the relevant services to process selected content only to fulfill features you actively request. The Privacy Policy explains data paths, operational metrics, and retention. Do not submit content you lack the right to process.
Liability and termination
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Modocus is provided as is, and limits on indirect, incidental, or consequential damages follow the Apple Standard EULA. We may suspend hosted service for serious abuse, system harm, or unlawful use. This does not hold local data or legally required export access hostage.
